Hydaburg Cooperative Association's Council met on June 3, 2020, and due to the COVI-19 Pandemic, we have decided to cancel our Annual Culture Camp which was to be held on July 20-25, 2020. With the rise of COVID-19 cases in Alaska and the travel mandates changing, we must protect our community. We will miss all of our friends and family who always attend. The Annual Culture Camp will take place next year in July 2021. Call Hydaburg Association for more information at 907-285-3665.
It's truly unfortunate to see the Annual Culture Camp canceled this year, especially since it brings everyone together in such a meaningful way. I hope that the community stays connected in other ways during this time. I recently came across a website link discussing how online platforms can facilitate respectful conversations, which might offer some inspiration for virtual gatherings or activities leading up to next year's camp. Looking forward to seeing everyone in 2021!
