As the State of Alaska prepares to reopen and begin Phase 3 of the General Guidance plan it is important to continue to minimize the spread of COVID-19 by acting responsibly and following all local, state, national, and industry guidelines to keep your business, employees and clients safe. We are here to equip you with the latest updates and resources as you navigate the reopening of your businesses during this uncertain time. Included below are links on best business practices to follow while reopening, as well as a helpful diagram that displays the preparedness level your business should be at before opening your doors for business. For our food manufacturers, the CDC recently began recommending restaurants and food industry businesses to stop using shared items like “buzzers” to notify guests that their table is ready. Instead they are recommending using a phone app, or similar that will avoid a heavily touched item. I included a few recommended app options below. *We are not endorsing these apps, we are simply sharing a few potential app options. Feel free to conduct your own research beyond the below.
